The Rockford Hero Rumble debuted November 1, 2025, at Hard Rock Live Rockford as the region’s premier Police vs. Fire charity boxing event. Sanctioned by USA Boxing, the program featured our region's heroes competing for community pride, boxing belts and a traveling trophy for the winning Department, all while raising awareness and funds for a local nonprofit selected by the Rockford Fire and Police Departments. The inaugural Hero Rumble drew more than 1,000 attendees and raised $14,000 for the Carrie Lynn Children’s Center, a certified 501(c)(3) serving Boone and Winnebago Counties as a trusted support system for families grappling with the challenges of child sexual and serious physical abuse.​​ Thank you to all of our event partners, sponsors, attendees and supporters -- we'll see you again in 2026 for the second edition!
